Christmas Gift Ideas for Coworkers

fruit_basketIf you work in a large department it can be a real challenge on what to decide to get everyone at work for Christmas. Typically you need to get a lot of the same thing and try to keep costs reasonable (we like the people we work with, but come on, you probably want to be able to spend more money on Christmas gifts for family and friends).

Homemade Gift Ideas for Coworkers:

  • Homemade caramels (click on the link for a foolproof recipe) – There is just nothing better than homemade caramels. I don’t know a single person that complains about a delicious bag of caramels with a nice colorful bow.
  • Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookie Jars – The jars are cute, easy to make in bulk and everyone loves an easy way to make chocolate chip cookies. Plus this gift will last until after all of the other Christmas goodies have been eaten.

Buying Christmas Gifts for Coworkers:

  • A Box of Andes Chocolate Mints (affiliate link)All you need to do is add a bow and a tag. Simple, easy to pack and bring to work, and mints just say “Christmas.”
  • Fruit baskets – These have always been eaten at my house, an old healthy tradition. This may appeal to those who are watching their waistline over the holiday season (although watching your waistline over the holidays is a bit of a challenging task to take on).
  • Advent Calendars (affiliate link) – You would have to give these at the beginning of the month, but they are a fun Christmas treat each day leading up to Christmas.

Christmas shopping for coworkers can be stressful, but if you plan ahead, pick a universal item that everyone will love it won’t have to be a hassle!
