A fun wedding gift idea is a “date night” gift basket. This gift works especially well for a winter wedding gift, but it is sure to be a hit year round. Usually I will find a nice big basket (a basket that can be used for laundry or a decorative storage basket work best) and fill it with the following:

• DVDs, BlueRay movies or gift certificates for a movie rental.
• A box of microwave popcon (you can place this in a nice popcorn bowl also, based on your budget).
• A throw blanket (look at their wedding registry and see if they have a preferred color).
• Two mugs and some hot cocoa for the winter a bottle of champagne and champagne flutes work great for summer.
• Red licorice, chocolate candies (essentially some movie munchies).

This should get you started on making a unique and memorable wedding “date night” gift basket.
